These nights are a great way to make your start with SPICE and the easiest way of meeting a few new people.
Sandra is the Spice Yorkshire Coordinator and will be there to welcome you. It’s all very informal with a talk through the basics of Spice and how it all works, a short DVD and then a chance for you to have any queries answered.
It is a very casual evening and everyone is welcome – those who are thinking of joining and those who have just joined, but want to find out a little more. If you feel a little uneasy turning up on your own then please feel free to bring along a friend.
As well as Sandra, some volunteers may be on hand to offer advice on events and activities.
There's no need to book this - just turn up in good time!
After the event there is a light buffet before our new members evening which you are welcome to stay & join us for.

This is a new evening to welcome our recently joined members & help you get the most out of your Spice membership.
The evening will start with a light buffet which follows on from the Prospective Members Evening. The Prospective Members evening is intended to give an overview of Spice whilst the New Members evening is intended to go into more detail of the nuts & bolts of Spice. Likely topics will include a delve into the world of our website, facebook & the various Spice groups on it, the forthcoming event programme in detail including highlighting events recommended for new members & running through how to book events, our overseas programme, help with venues we use & how to get to them where to park etc. and anything else that new members request on the night.
We'll be helping you take your first steps with Spice on the evening including booking you on your first events & linking members together so you start making friends right away & probably will even find someone to go on your first events with. The criteria for attending this event is that you need to have joined within 6 months of the evening or done 5 or less events in the past year. We are charging £5 for this event but on the evening you will be given £5 credit against any events you book on the night. This will help us gauge numbers for the buffet plus of course encourage you to book your first events!
SO if you are one of our recent new members get yourself booked on this, put a smile on your face, a bit of courage in your pocket & come along prepared to leave with some new friends & some exciting & fun times ahead to look forward to. We look forward to meeting you all there!
